If you like the image, don't let someone else's opinion get you down. Take what you can from helpful comments to improve your skills, and ignore the rest. When the voting is over, look at the individual high scores you got. If you motivated someone to give you an 8, 9 or 10, that means your image reached somebody (or several somebodys) out there, and you should feel good about that, even if not everyone agrees.
