Some facts: I love wide angle photos. My father spoils me with great photo stuff (yes I am 33). He's passing on a 15mm sigma fisheye (f2.8 prime) to me!!!! ... I have the 10-20mm EX already.

I plan on keeping both but I'm wondering if anyone would care to share the advantages of one or the other (other than the obvoious zoom thing of course).
I'm trying to figure out which to take on a trip to the Florida Keys along with the 18-200mm VR.

take the fisheye and just get some funky stuff.
It will be a great opportunity to get to know it quite well also.

If you ever want to sell your 10-20mm, I'm looking for one. (I know you said you wanted to keep them both but whatever, sometimes ppl change their mind.)

I've never used a fisheye before so I couldn't say which one I would bring sorry.

An interesting conundrum, which to take. I'd say, if you're not going back any time soon, take the 10-20. If you can spare the extra weight, take both. The keys *would* be an awesome place to experiment with the fish.
The 15mm fisheye will be giving you about the same horizontal FoV as the 10-20 @ 10mm. The difference, of course, is how it's rendered. A 15mm fisheye isn't radically "fishy" on an APS-C camera, but with the horizon significantly off-center, there's plenty of good distortion to go around. You'll also have some fairly dark skies down there, possibly a good time to try some night sky stuff. A fish is usually a very good lens for that.

On a side note- is the 15mm a "macro" type lens? - I'm asking because this image is apparently taken with it:

Given, this could be a mistake - I know I've accidentally mis-lensed my images on occassion.

DOH! that shot is with the sigma 105mm lens, not the 15mm.

i do that all the time 'cause i have them both.

i love the 15mm fisheye, but it's not as fishy as i would like it to be.

it's fun for some stuff, though.

edited to add: although it's not a "macro" lens, its focal distance is teeny! you can get way up on stuff with it.

take 10-20, fisheye is of limited use 'coz it's only for few fun shots. You not going spend all day shooting with it.
