I wanted to give it the "This product is for sale" look. I don't have any proper lighting setup, and the photo was taken just as I was sitting down to drink it. I placed a white piece of paper under neath it and took it at an angle so as to get most of the background white. It was night time, and my place is dark so I used the onboard flash. I cleaned it up in PSP. Advice? Criticism?

Well you asked ...
If I owned that company, I would not like the heavy reflection on the company name on the left ... or that paper sticker over the Ltd. part or whatever is there (that might even be a legal issue) or the grain or the lack of focus on the writing at the bottom of the can (low DOF).
Sorry ... but that is my gut reaction to that image.

| No need to apologize, that's what I am looking for, constructive criticism. It was just a spur of the moment shot. The sticker wasn't what I was worried about. I was just looking for the over quality. I see now where some of my mistakes are. |

| seems kind of noisy. what was the ISO you used? |

| Dunno. I am still reading through a 'basics' on digital photography to learn about everything. Any good shot I have right now is only because of a fluke in lighting with my camera set to automatic. |

Hi there. Try the shot again on iso 100, You may need to use a tri-pod. Agreed with what Greetmir said, I think a shot like this need a lot of detail on the label. You can completely ignore the top of the can, in my opinion.
Good effort though buddy, keep it up.
