| I'm new to the site, and have been spending the last couple of weeks going through my old pics (All the pics I've taken since I got my camera last summer) and I would love to get as much info on my technique, or lack of it. BUT, I don't want to be a post-whore and have people go past my photos. Would it be best to just do a few a day? Or just 1 a day? Or put a bunch in 1 post? What would be the DPC way? |

Post as many as you like (but no current challenge entries). If you're worried about posting too many new threads, load this thread up with a bunch of them and commentors will come. :)

| You should post thumbnails that link to the full pics. Loading a page with too many full size pictures takes very long. You can keep post count down by putting all your pictures in one thread, just create new posts when you want to post more pictures. |

OK. I will wait until I fix up enough so that I am happy then post thumbs to full-sized pics.

Alternately, if there are a lot of them, get an account at one of the free photo hosting sites and divide them up into catagories. Just post a link to the catagories you want viewed.
Post as many as you like. Just be aware multiple threads full of your images will likely be considered multiple threads on the same subject and all but the first locked. Just use some common sense and it will be ok.
However, other than the "this is what I've been up to" threads, getting detailed comments works best when there is only one image and a concise statement of what you were trying/hoping to accomplish with it.
