Hi there,

I live in a part of the world that never sees snow. I've only touched snow a few times in my life and have to drive hours to see it.

It's NEVER snowed on the beaches where I live and for as long as I can remember I've wanted to know what the beach looks like where it snows.

If you have any photos of the Beach and Snow I would LOVE to see them.

Looking forward to seeing something I have yet to experience!

Thanks in advance.

I searched the site and found these.

I like the last one best.

Come on DPC-ers!

How about some more pics for Lisa, who's enduring the agony of perpetual warm weather down-under?

Yeah do you have any idea what it's like to live with 30 degree heat day after day, while a good portion of you are showing me snow, snow, snow - it looks so cool, fresh, white (and bloody cold - GRIN!)

Not exactly a big beach with snow, like by an ocean or a lake, but this is a little beach on the Columbia river (the beach is mainly used for fishing, although I've seen people wading and dogs playing in the water there, in Summer, of course) :)

Glad we could help. Anytime you want to feel cold just take a look at my Rockies Weekend or Elk Island National Park (2007) images.

These are awesome. I only ever touched snow once, when it snowed 20km from my home in NSW. And have always wanted to see snow one day. And then I saw these images in this thread.....wow!! I definitely wanna see that.

Thanks for sharing.

You people can have all of mine. I'm tired of looking at it and moving it.

Not beaches, but plenty of snow...

Here's one meyers took today in Chicago.

And mine on the way home from work (stopped snowing by then).

Chicago has had a lot of snow in the last couple of days (not like NY, but...)

10 years ago maybe I could have shown you some snow. This year we've had snow for about 1 day. I blame global warming.
