Hey people! Am going for a short weekend trip to Glasgow, just me and Henny and we are going sightseeing. Plan is to spend one day in Glasgow and another one in Edinburgh since it´s only a 45 minute trip by train so just looking for advice if there is anything not typically swamped by tourists that might be fun to see and also if you have any cool small cosy restaurants that don´t cost an arm and a leg.
Any tips more than welcome :) |

Hey! While you're in Edinburgh, make sure you go to Calton Hill. It's only a 2min walk from the very centre of the city, and the skyline is stunning. (especially at sunset time, provided it's not raining)

Rain Saturday, dry Sunday. I'd forgotten how cold it gets over there at this time of year. low of 1C and a high of 8C. 25C here tomorrow :) Now, why did I move ?

On a semi-photographic theme, the camera obscura and associated imagery exhibition near Edinburgh castle is interesting (if a bit touristy).
Otherwise, I recommend my good friends Talisker, Laphroaig and Lagavulin.
