Some fun statistics... turns out that the number of uploads of images to DPC over time is nearly a perfect 2nd-order exponential! The graph at left shows both historical and extrapolated data. The table at right shows the number of images uploaded and the respective date (same data the graph is based on). The maroon are predicted, of course, being in the future.

eek! Sure hope the server is big enough to handle that kind of traffic LOL

Very cool! I've always wondered, and this I think confirms that the image id # is sequential with each image uploaded to the site? Probably the same with threads, etc?
