SO long as you dont say American's or white people! lol but its funyn when someone takes a joke thats at themand turns it around on what theyre laughing at.
But seriously have you heard of a mirror. This image is nothing but a mirror image?
Since when does that defy physicis or nature? dont try to play it off your the one that said it not me.
You seem to feel that a miror image cant be made with film or that it somehow defies nature and physiscs that i dont get.
Mirror imaging isnt somethign new, doesnt matter how he attaiend it call it digital art if u want but if it can be create din an analog fashion also then it kinda kills the whole concept of digital art.

I stopped counting the phrase "DNMC" after 30. All on the same challenge. Each made within seconds of each other. I imagine a vote of one was also made. |

I like your attitude; I believe "expert rules" should be used to emphasize and strengthen the meaning and the goal set for the photo, and not produce something that is not natural; like the cross-eyed-window reflection in that specific photo.
This is my opinion "as simple as it may by it is my opinion"

In my book if you comment about something while voting, (lets say "too dark") on one or two images, you could be right. BUT when you are making the same comment on dang near EVERY photo, you have to question your thinking and wonder if you have it wrong.
I have personally had to do this, as a matter of fact I am going to change some of my scores in a current challenge because I don't think I'm seeing things in the right light.
btw...where's the popcorn when you need it. ;)

Huh? In the sky challenge which also ran under expert editing you faved two images and during the voting commented very positively on both saying you scored them a 10 yet both would easily fail your "physics and nature" criteria at least more so than Qart's photo. How do you explain that? These are the two photos in question:
Your comment: Great work . really good. 10
Your comment: "10 great idea and work"

Thanks for the question and the chance, as you see I do give 10's and a lots of them when I see work worthwhile.
As for the explanation it is very easy, the two photos you referred to were done and designed with expanded imagination and treatment and it was very clear the photographers did not want us to believe they were factual, on the other hand the title "Angel Eyes" meant to lead us to seeing and believing a real thing, and in my opinion that makes a great deference. To me "AE" would have been a great shot and work if only work was done on both sides of the face, or I was made aware of that fact and not find it out myself.
Thanks.

But this is factual. Downtown Columbus is a mini globe just like this. Oh wait - maybe not.
And you know I am beginning to agree with you on the point of Qarts Angel Eyes. Personally I think he should not only be DQed for trying to make me believe something that isn't true but he should also have his DPC membership revoked for ever and ever. Well, after the WPL is over. Then FOEREVER AND EVER!!!

Completely ignoring everything said and done before..
The whole mirrored eye thing causes no response because it's been done before..Many professionals do this because symmetry in faces is considered at the ultimate beauty..maybe the photographer found more beauty in the reflected light dots...
The majority is authority and no matter how much anyone objects the picture found many admirers and it won.. |

Photography is an art; you taste and present what you like and want to do.
It won, people like, that is great. I respect the way the look at things, and have my own point of view. I hope this is not too much for you to accept. |
