Well, one of us is confused ;-) On the 13th mcrochip said we were aiming for the 24th, and then later he said around 10:00 am at Dark Hollow Falls, so I've been assuming that was the plan. Maybe a confirmation would be good?

Ah yes, I see that now, thanks. I think I'll try and be out there at 10 am then as well. Will confirm again here before hitting the road in the morning.

D'OH! I can't believe I just now saw this thread (9:30am on the day of) ... I read the forums every day but haven't come in the Out & About forum in a long time. I would have joined you all. Maybe next time...

Hey sorry you guys didn't make it. Steven, Mary and myself had a nice hike down to the falls and got a few shots today. It was a pleasure meeting you two today.

Here's Steven ;-)

Nice to meet you, too. Just as glad no one fell in the water or broke anything, despite the entertaining photos it would have provided ;-)

Oh yeah, remember that conversation we had about not "really" knowing what you have till you get home.

Well, I got nothing! ;-)

However, the aches in my body are telling me "it's about time I got some exercise. ;-)

Nothing?! I have a few I like, but haven't really gotten around to processing them yet.

Only saw 2 deer on the way out and they promptly disappeared when they saw my car. In retrospect I should have snapped photos of the ones who brazenly blocked the road on the way in, but oh, well.

Not feeling achy and am hoping not to. Rather proud of myself for that, actually, since most of my hikes aren't so vertical.

Thanks to Mary and Lance for coming out... it was great to meet you, and I think we got to see something that not many people get to see. Since Lance posted a picture of me breaking a rule, here's a picture of him looking at ice.

Oh, and for anyone who's been on that trail before... no stick figures were harmed during the hike.
