as long as no one seems to care if we use an older foto here or there, here is my wife and kids last summer on the ferry between Whidbey Island (if you've ever been in the navy you know where its at) and Everett (if you ever heard of Boeing you know where its at)

Day 7 - Huntingdale, Victoria, Australia

I love what this challenge is doing for me!

I live near an industrial pocket - it never really 'touches' my world, but I'm finding myself exploring it in the evenings and finding groovy stuff to capture.

Tonight for your viewing pleasure is a trolley of cardboard rolls - left homeless outside a factory.

Day 7 Chicago, IL

Another from the window of my apartment. Sorry, it's getting a bit repetitive, but the sun this morning was so pretty reflecting off the windows of all the buildings. Yesterday I couldn't even see these buildings due to the heavy snow.

I'll try to do something different for tomorrow!

Day 6:

I'm afraid I didn't get a fresh photo yesterday, so here's a stale one in its place. It is february though - an outtake from day 4.

This is Earlswood lakes, about 4 miles from my house. I'd seen it on maps and gone past on the train, but never visited it til the other day when I stumbled across it on a sunday photo-cycle-stroll session.
Very nice area; lots of birdlife and lots of people fish here. Very picnic-able.

Day 7:

Taken on the way to work. Lovely frosty morning; I had to stop and take some snaps. I cloned out several lampposts, but was tempted to keep them in for reality - this is taken right by the entrance to our business park - to the left is a swarming motorway and birmingham suburbia; to the right a nature reserve (with office blocks in the middle of said reserve), and beyond that just countryside & small villages for miles.

Well, hopefully tomorrows picture will include lots of snow!

Day 7

Hall Chapel Ruin, Bowthorpe, Norwich, UK

A five minute walk from my house :)

This is the ruin of a chapel near where I live. We have tons of chapels and churches here. I tried to get some information on this one this morning, but had no luck, so if I find anything else out, I'll post it here. Hope to get into the city over the weekend and get some pics of our Norman castle (from when Bill the Conquerer came here and took the place over), and our Norman Cathedral. Both are circa 1100.

Day 7: End of an Era

A little snow made this prettier, but this is kind of an ugly scene 'cause you can see the contrast between the development and the farm with cornfields in between. None of those homes were there three years ago. The water towers in the background are new within the past twenty years, too.
