I especially like the statement "A judge who finds it difficult to express feelings and emotions about a picture should not feel he is alone but rather should realise that almost all people find difficulty in this area. Like all abilities, this one increases with practice and, once acquired, adds so much value to a judge's comments that all should strive to achieve it." It's very encouraging. |

It is obvious that the true value of an artistic work is the message and the medium is no more than the vehicle employed to convey the message.
This guy is the Anti-McCluhan?

With a minimal but important amendement, I could agree with him:
...the true value of an artistic work is the message and the medium is no more (AND NO LESS) than the vehicle employed to convey the message.
Never underestimate the role played by the vehicles.. =)
