ok, had Vista installed for about 3 hours now.
And it's... OK. No more than that, just... OK.
Now why did i spend all that cash?
Could have been a lens?

Any company that has shareholders. Do you own any stock, eug? Would you be in favor of the government putting limits on its profits?
Notwithstanding its early business practices, MS has done a lot to help the economy in indirect ways - like making millionaires - many of them - and many of them who have taken that money and started their own businesses. I'm in favor of very limited regulation on practices that essentially stifle innovation, but NOT limit profit in any way - let the market take care of that.
I'm not particularly a fan of MS, but I am a fan of capitalism. :) |
Are you a fan of Exxon? $39 billion in profits last year. What have they done to help our economy except suck a few extra billion out of peoples spending that could have gone to many other things. MS founders at least do good things with their profits. Exxon? Capitalism is not always good if left uncontrolled.

Umm. My new Windows Vista system is being built as we speak. This pc is chuggin along and although I tossed around the idea of getting a Mac. I decided to go with the familiar and get another PC with Vista.
Will let you all know how it goes! |
