I never got a notification, but checked the page this morning like I always do and it's this one:
If anyone happens to be in Times Square today, would you consider getting a snapshot? I know it's a lot to ask on such short notice, but I swear I never got a notification. Gah!

Hey, if anyone has a TotalFark account, please go look for my headline and vote it a thumbs up? The more people vote for it, the better chance it has for hitting the front page, and the better chance I have of someone getting a snapshot of it for me. You are such a llama! Thank you so much! I caught it on the cam once this afternoon, but the sun was at an angle that it really showed all the dirt on the lens and then emailing it to myself didn't work since it sent a frame a few seconds too late. I'm so excited to have pictures, though. The relatives think this stuff is just the awesomest thing ever. (I happen to think it's kinda neat, too.)
