Okay, I'll toss out the first question: zoos or not? It says in a natural environment, but it's gonna be tough for many people to shoot something other than local birds or bugs without zoos.

Wildlife II

Looks like the previous challenge speaks to that fairly clearly...

There tons of bird sanctuaries all about in MD....time for a road trip. National Zoo? Well if you have to...but try something different maybe. If I can get a ride, I'm going to try Tinicum next weekend. Otherwise I really don't have anything but the Philly zoo...and that just does not play too well in a Wildlife Challenge.Wildlife II Wildlife (I)

maybe I can go wake up an Alaskan grizzly bear. Of course the way my luck has been the bear would eat my camera.

i would like to see people shoot their subjects in their own REAL natural environment. I don't call zoos "natural". Problem is trying to determine where the animal is from looking at the picture.

And then you'd have to have the EPA come clean up his poop/

I might be able to find a rat or a squirrel :-)

BIGMA is the Sigma 50-500mm lens that is BIG and is great for shooting bears that you wake up from hibernation

edited to say my Bigma is not shipped out, but attached to my camera and ready for action

wish i had bought that 70-300 now! This still might be ok, got a nice lake near me with a crapload of ducks and stuff, but i doubt if any ol' duck will be up to par.

There are some bad-ass wild kitties around here. I wonder if that'd count?

Would a photo of my teenager at her most obnoxious count?...

As long as she's in her natural environment.

Let's see:
For the purpose of this challenge, "wildlife" should be considered non-domesticated: I'll assume she isn't
mammals: yep
living in a natural environment: her room would work

:)

Yeah this will be a tough one...
If only this challenge was run over December when I was at a game farm, this would have been a snap....

Oh, and (fortunately) I do not even have access to a teenager...

Yep, she is very definitely not domesticated, and as far as her room is concerned, I did consider posting a photo of it for the 'Harsh Environment' challenge....
