I'm looking for a free image gallery that I can incorporate into a website that I am building (//www.louisvilleasda.org) with a couple specific features:
1. Ability for anyone to upload photos (PHP?).
2. Automatic resize of photos so that the entire photo can be viewed on the page without scrolling.
3. Gallery organization
There are so many free image galleries out there that it could take me hours to find (or not find) what I'm looking for, so I was hoping maybe somebody here could help me out.

//coppermine-gallery.net/ is the first one that comes to mind, but it's a long way from the only one. It is, however, probably one of the top two free ones.
The other is Menalto Gallery at //gallery.menalto.com/.
The "incorporating into a website" can cover a lot of territory and can mean a lot of different things. Both can be used in such a way, but it's not necessarily "simple".

I use Gallery, which is embedded into my Drupal site. The development of Gallery seems to move forward faster than Coppermine from what I have seen. Gallery and Drupal seem to play well with each other.

Another alternative is MG2. It's extremely easy to set up and use. You can even get a template that looks exactly like pbase :P Only downfall is I dont think it's supported anymore but that doesnt stop it from working pretty good.
