I just received this from buy.com. A Kingston 2 Gb SD Card for US$9.95 (after mail-in rebate).

I've never ordered from buy.com, so I cannot vouch for their service.

| Rebate is good for up to two cards; I just bought a couple. Thanks for the heads up! |

The interesting thing is that the rebate for the 1GB card is $45, while for the 2GB card it's $35. I wonder if one can get a 1GB card for free after this rebate. :)

Is this the proper 1GB card? The price is $35.87, so with a $45 rebate, theoretically, Kingston will be paying us $9 to get this card. :)

Not to rain on everyones parade but you can pick the Kingston 2GBs off eBay for between $12 and $20 pretty easily. So the Buy.com deal is not bad but rather not really great. Lets say it is very good but requires time and effort.

I just checked the completed listings, and, including shipping, the cheapest I found was $21. Buy.com gives you free shipping. |

| After I wrote that I too remembered about the free shipping. Makes it a better deal but still requires you to deal with getting the rebate back. |

You have to watch it when buying cheap memory cards on e-bay, there have been some scammers putting fake labels on POS cards.
