HA! Gotcha LOL.
I just wanted to say thank you to the voters for proving me absolutely wrong :-D. My Grace photo is doing exponentially better than I expected it to do. Thanks! (and no, i'm not being sarcastic)

Cool. Congrats! There are some really nice shots in there. I can't wait to see who the owners are of some of my favorites.

I hope so too! I've had that happen once or twice, but this week I seem to be experiencing the opposite effect :( |

wish that was happening to me! My challenge entries have all been getting boring, run-of-the-mill, average, mid 5's. I'd almost rather be getting 4's for something artistic and unique. Of course, I've been submitting rather boring, run-of-the-mill, average photos to the challenges just for the sake of joining in on the fun again. I missed a lot of challenges when I was away. The GOOD photos are in my portfolio, so GO TAKE A LOOK why don't cha? |

Backyard Beach, and Monterey Bench are both awesome. Go shoot more stuff like those and quit bitching about being run-of-the-mill. ;)
lot of great stuff in there J.

yes, I should have included Dunes Fence 3 on my list of awesome shots. I've taken some shots I love thanks to the inspiration of the challenge topics. I rarely enter anymore, but i still use the topics to direct my focus once in a while.
things will allll be different once i get my D100 (*hear the warrior blaming his weapon*) ;) |

You do great work Jason, I look forward to seeing your challenge entries when you get back into it fully :)
I get run of the mill scores all the time .... but in the couple of months I've been here I've crept from starting in the high 3's, to mid 4's, to mid 5's, to beating the 6 mark once :) :) :)
My goal is to get my shots to the standard when I am always scoring in the 6's, and obviously continue building from there.

Yeah, 6 is a good goal to set. It's mine too. You can't really hope to get higher than that consistently on here. I understand where you're coming from on not entering the challenges. Sometimes I just feel like I have to, which is silly.
Pedro. Congrats on the upgrade. Look forward to seeing your results. |
