I found this list while looking at threads on Flickr. I thought it was kinda cool and thought I'd share. Anyone know of a similar list that might have more stuff/options?

cityscape at night 20 secs
docks and bridges with reflections 30 secs

ordinary night street scene 20 secs
floodlit exteriors 4 secs
floodlit castles and churches at dusk 15 secs

landscapes by moonlight 30 mins
landscapes at twilight 1 min

Lists like that were much more helpful (and necessary) in the days of film. Now you can shoot, adjust, shoot, adjust, etc., to your heart's content.

While you're statement is true, it's nice to have a good starting point and adjust from there. Some of us less experienced people still find lists of starting points handy, heh.
