I have a Canon Powershot S45 and I really like it. But as most compact cameras, I have no threads to add lenses/filters. There are some adapters on the market that allow those lenses additions (the adaptor I've seen is for 37mm threads and is around 50$). Should I be better to wait for a while and buy one camera that accept lenses/filters or this small device can do a good job?

Hi Darix,

Since moving up to a DSLR I have decided to keep my S30 but lose the accessories so that I can afford to get another lens.

I posted a few days ago before the items were properly up for auction, but if you have an ebay account you may want to check them out.

If you check my other listings, I also have a Canon 250D closeup lens and a Hoya R72 infrared filter up for auction that would work with you camera.
