That's okay. I received a comment that didn't make sense, either. In my current Free Study entry, I used a composition style called "X" (since I don't want to reveal my entry, I'll call it "X"). The comment was that "there was too much 'X'".
According to definition (Wikipedia, in this case), "The use of 'X' is a key element of artistic composition"
Therefore, the voter either doesn't understand artistic composition or the voter simply doesn't agree with the definition. What can you do...you can't please all the people, all of the time. That's what makes these contests exciting (I guess). :-(

| Heh I got the 'too dark' comment as well though in Free Study. Wonder if its the same guy. Crank up the gamma pal! |

I got an "out of focus" for a background that is supposed to be out of focus. I believe that is called DOF. I could be wrong on this but, deedeedee. |

With my free study entry kicking ass and taking names, Im a little dissapointed here. I wasnt expecting wonders here, more like high 5 range. Ah well, theres lots of voting left, and my images tend to get bumped .2-.5 in the last 2 days of voting. At least its above my average... |
