Help PLEASEEE!!! When I see through my viewfinder I can see a small speck. This speck does not show in the pictures but I can see it when I am composing a shot. What could be the problem??

- It's not the lens since even without it you still can see it.
- I have tried to clean the viewfinder but it is difficult to clean inside and I cannot get rid of this speck. Any tips to clean the viewfinder?
- You can see that spot when the camera is either on/off.
- The cleaning tool seems to be working so, could it be sensor dust?? I just bought it back in Nov, as I said the pics do not show any dust (that I can tell) and I haven't set up the in-camera dust cleaning software.

it's on the mirroe, it's just dirt, not sensor dust. You cannot see the senser when looking through the view finder. All you can see is the mirrorm view finder and lens glass. Check the mirror, good luck

The Giotto Rocket Blower is a great tool to have on hand for those occasions...

Thanks John, with one of those you just blew some high-speed air to send the dust of the mirror or lenses out??
