This is probably nothing compared to what Colorado got, but it's a lot of snow for us! It snowed for over 24 hours continuously, which is just unheard of for our part of the state.
Yesterday:
today:
And a couple of comparisons from yesterday and today:

Wierd weather this year. It's been 40-50 degrees here for over a month. Usually this time of year it's low 20's or colder and snow on the ground. Last year this time highs were in the teens and we had over a foot of snow on the ground.

I can help you out MadMan, here is one I took in Aztec yesterday.
By the time I drove the last 15 miles to my house there was very little on the ground... not even worth taking a pic! |

Nice shots y'all. Glad to see we're not alone up here. The 2nd one we had wasn't that bad. Only got a few inches, unlike the foothills which got 28" MORE on top of last weeks.
P.S. Bet yours melts first though.

Cool shot. Congrats on the 30D too :)
I probably wouldn't have gone out in time to get much snow on the trees, but I had to wake up early anyway (well, 8:30) so I went and shot for a while. |

Ha! That was LATE! about 4:30pm. I was on my way home from working in Durango for the day. It was beautiful at 7:30am on 550 that morning. Tons of patchy fog in the valleys.... I wish I had had time to stop then or even peel my eyes off the road for more than a few seconds. Across the state line is got flat out icy. And thanks on the congrats!
I do hope others post some more pix from ABQ....... It never snowed even close to that much during the 6 years I lived there.... even at the base of the mountains. |

This was the most snow I've ever seen here, and I've basically lived here all my life. I'm hoping to venture away from the house today and get some better pics (mine were the snowmen and the fire hydrant in the first post). |
