I've always thought that silos and water towers were great places for art and advertising. Here's one that jumped out at me on a dark night last summer.

soup- neither, it's there to be seen from the highway and lit up at night; only thing I did was black out some trees in the backgroung, crop, and resize.
kirbic- I had that thought too, a challenge based around silos and water towers, might be fun.

Then you should like this ... it was part of the same hedge. I was using the oleander to hide the ugly utility pole next to the windmill.

If you want to see a REAL windmill, check out the town I grew up in, Bowling Green, Ohio. I don't have a picture of it myself, but I found a page that does.
Check it Out!
The windmill is rented out for apartments.

I like the idea of water towers, silos and windmills...here's a shot I took of a few windmills one clear spring night.

I can see why this jumped out at you. It would be a creepy feeling seeing this at night.

Thanks for the comments, here's one more shot of the windfarm. Needless to say, I spent quite a few hours out there testing the limits of the 10-D.
