This is a self portrait of sorts. I set my remote trigger with the 10 second timer. I then ran to the car...rolled up to the stop sign in neutral...with the lights off and used the parking brake to stop. After I stopped, I got out of the car and used my 1 million candle power light to illuminate the stop sign, car and windmills. I got back in the car and hit the blinker as I put the car in gear and pulled away.

The extra brake lights you see at the left of the image are another car driving by.

Wow! 351 seconds is like... let's see... 5.9 minutes! Great shot, and something that would be great to try if I ever get a camera that I can hold the shutter open.

How did you reduce the noise in the shot? Obviously you've got a better camera than mine, but even at ISO 100, I would imagine there should be a significant amount of noise with a 6 minute exposure, especially in the sky areas.

Impressive. How long was your shutter open for this?

It's like a chinese fire drill...photography style! It's cool how you captured the rotation of the earth in the stars.

Wow! you went through a lot of trouble for this shot. Makes you wonder what the person in the other vehicle was thinking of you during the time. hehehhe...
