Whats cool is that this isnt really the challenge that I am paying attention to. These numbers are just childs play. ;) |
OMG! Sir Timfy has an 8+ running somewhere... Be sure to pack an oxygen tank for the rarefied air at the top :-)

OK - So maybe a bit overstated with the 8+ talk. You can all take that thought and store it away for another challenge in the hopefully not too distant future. I can say it has been a really good week though. I will be able to join the 6+ average club come rollover Thursday night though - and hopefully scratch off 3 other goals by weeks end.
Edit - Sir Timfy just sounds kind of silly now doesnt it?

I edited under basic.......
My question is how does one explain that I have almost 250 more views but 9 fewer votes than Gaby only 3 hours after her post....that seems weird.......

yeah whats up with the voting, usually my score drops with in the first two days then slowly climbs back up the rest of the week. This challenge is backwards.

the voting has tapered to a mear drip, maybe 1 every 3 or 4 hours. The Brown and Pink Floyd Challenges are getting all the action now. Which is ok by me, I do not want to see my score take a sudden dive in the last hours.
A doubt a 7 is going to do much for my overall average, but it is great way to bump that last 5 off my front page, Will probably be awhile before I start knocking off the 6's but Ill keep pluckin away at this, who knows maybe i am about to start a reign of terror like Tim and Yanko. Hows that for positive thinking haaha,.

I'm just happy to have lots of votes with a 6.3 score. I mean, I'm obviously a much better photographer than Tim, DrAchoo, Yanko, or Larus, and it's time to have my average show it.

Just got finished voting. There are some absolutely gorgeous photos in there. Very creative. Some maybe a little too creative, but I guess the "photographic in nature" is subject to interpretation. Overall, this collection is truly inspiring!
FWIW, I say keep these expert rules, and have an occasional challenge, maybe one a month. |

About 6 hours to rollover. Who's staying up to watch this one with me? I confess to mixed feelings right now; on the one hand I am locked into a personal best, and this is good. On the other hand, I have a sneaky feeling that I may be sitting on the third highest score NOT to ribbon in DPC...
Only time (about 6 hours of it) will tell :-)
