I've decided that I would like to have a smugmug webpage..... but I'm hesitant as to which package is best. I know that the Pro offers the option for purchasing photos & earning income, but I don't have the $$ to put out for that right now. So, I'm wondering how other smugmuggers handle photo orders with the non-pro sites? Do you just have a link for people to contact you personally?
Also, do all the accounts come with the option for password protected folders?
I appreciate any imput! Thanks

Hi Drummie,

If I recall correctly, all types of accounts can make galleries either private or password protected.

One important thing to remember to do with a non-pro account (if you are selling photos) is to turn printing off in the Customize Gallery options. Otherwise, people can buy your prints for the standard Smugmug cost and won't need to place an order.

You can have an e-mail link in the bio section of your homepage for people to contact you. Prior to upgrading to the pro account, I listed my prices there and left an e-mail address.

Good luck!
