So I took my first shots with my new D200. .NEF or Raw files. I am using CS2 Photoshop and have never had a problem in the past 2 years with the D70 Raw files. So CS2 will not open the .NEF files. It says, "Cannot open this file because Photoshop doesn't recognize this file type"..
Umm, so please help anyone!!

Do you have the latest update of Adobe Camera Raw installed?
It supports the D200 from version 3.5

An alternative is to buy Nikon Capture 4.4
It is a better converter than ACR. It handles moiré better and can pull more detail from an overexposed area. Nikon Capture NX is even better. I do not have NX but got a private demonstration at Photokina by a NIK employee. Very cool.

Pish. Just stop overexposing and you won't have to worry about it, Az.

No Pedro has it right. You shoot nudes you get nude yourself. I've also heard that it's best to work in a very small studio for this sort of work.

Well, probably not a good idea to be shooting landscapes nude this time of year.
