Yeah, she was having a bit of nervousness about the shoot.

I think a closer crop would have been better for the pose you captured...more intimacy and connection rather than the uncomfortable feel the uncropped version seems to create. I took the liberty of working on it just to run with the idea...I'll remove it momentarily.

I actually like that crop better than mine :-) Oh and you can leave it if you want, I don't mind.
Edit: Look mom, no arm pit ;-)

Like I said, possibilities and a couple opinions. |
How can the shot look candid but the pose unnatural? Oh wait, I just had a flash back to your little miss kung fu shot. :P |

Wow. Now THAT is a better shot. :) Amazing how much a little cropping helps.

I agree. I gave the original shot a 6, but still felt that it was a bit forced and unflattering. This would most likely have got an extra point.
Changing the model to some kind of plastic blonde with botoxed lips would not have improved my score. In fact, probably the opposite. |

I still think it looks like she is checking her pulse. :) Nothing to do in post processing, but the next time, have her put her fingers up in her hair, or something. ;) |

I am still not fond of the position of the right hand, but I would probably have given this a 6. |

It's better than the original, but the original has lots of other problems, the armpit just being the most unappealing of them. |

I think she looks like she's thinking "Oh, my, how can I get to know that studly photographer better?" ;)
