Top 5 Annoying School Costs

For those who don't want to read the article...the pertinent money saving tip is to...

"Worried you won't have a spare to send to Grandma? Consider scanning your copy or email a cute digital shot you took yourself."

Nice...

Particularly good that they have a link at the bottom if you want a license to reuse their content... Perhaps we should mail them and see how they'd like people doing that with their articles ? :)

Ho man, I didn't even see this. Great catch Gordon.

I sent the author an email, although I'm sure she's heard it before.

Solution:
E-mail the author, and tell her, nicely, what you think (her email is linked on the page).
I just did.

:-)

Edit... too slow, LOL! Well, she's heard it again, LOL.

Solution:

E-mail the EDITOR of the publication and ask why they have an author that is advocating mass copyright law violations.

I just did.

I saw this a few days ago on another photography site and all the members there were also emailing so I bet she's getting the point right about now. :D

She better. I pointed out that if I did that with her work it'd be called plagiarism.

I also sent a version to the editor.

Things certainly have changed since I was in school and evidently the siblings and I were cheap kids. We never had fund raisers that cost our parents any money, never purchased class or other photos, never had to supply classrooms with materials, didn't spend money on after school activities (other than a cup and spikes for football), no class rings, no senior portraits, no proms, no class trips.

All that's changed, I guess. Schools are more than one room now, too!

Would have saved a lot of time to be in a one room schoolhouse. Always hated the 1/4 mile walk between my locker and my furthest class.
