not that I myself have seen this feature yet but I think it is a helpful feature to have. If you have to tell the person why there photo sucks then do so but make sure its short and brief. Why make such a stink about something so small???

Because basically, after all these troll discussion lately, the popup in a way says: "Watch it dude, we think you are a troll."
The first time it popped up I was just annoyed, but when I could not continue to vote because of a technical flaw somewhere I was reallly annoyed.

I think that commenting on low-scoring pictures may be more helpful for the photographer than commenting on high-scoring ones. As an inexperienced photographer, I need all of the help I can get. I don't have an opinion on the pop-up thing but comments I have received are extremely beneficial, especially on "low" pictures.

Honestly mate, do you realy care what someone on the other side of the world thinks about your voting or about you as a person??? Life is way too short to care what people think.

Why is it you get the box if you vote a 3 but not when you vote a 2 or a 1? Not that I was troll voting just testing!

Wow. That's a really helpful attitude that you have there.

I can't tell much attitude by Azrifel's post. I'm surprised you could.

You couldn't? I thought it came across pretty clearly. His attitude to me seems like "well, I voted it a 3, I think it's a piece of poo, I'll not bother to leave any kind of constructive criticism that might help them improve, though, because it's not worth it".

YMMV.

And what do you know about his comments on 4s, 5s, 6s, 7s, 8s, 9s and 10s?

If it's your first vote of 1, 2, or 3 you do. Subsequent votes of 1, 2, or 3 do nothing.
