How about a 24 hour challenge that allows full, all out editing? With the stipulation that you use a photo that you JUST entered into one of the two challenges. This could show at anytime. Then we can find out what kind of results will happen when a photo can be edited all out and compare it to its limited version. Myself, I like having the restriction, because it makes me use my camera and learn to use it to get the results I want.

I think all challenges should be no restrictions on editing.

Last time we did a challenge allowing all editing it did me no good. I tend to agree with Setzler on this, or at least make it no restrictions on editing for all members challenges.

Editing won't save a bad photo. Turning a bad photo into digital art doesn't make it a good photo either :)

With no editing restrictions, I may end up submitting something like this:

Now we don't want that! Everyone might think I'm on drugs!!!

Actually I like that. That is really cool. Very nice...I liked what you did with all the little photos. Gee hmm time to go start a thread with a different challenge suggestion after seeing that...

I guess my thinking was to show that (as said) a bad or mediocre photo, will not be made great by the editing. May improve some, but not to the point of absolute greatness.
