Please can we stop having challenges that force us to use a specific title? Its all well and good letting the voters know what film/book we used, or what year we used, or whatever, but at least don't force us to. I don't like being forced what to call things, especially if I'm going to be selling them on DPCPrints and unable to change the title for that. With the 007 challenge there will be loads of titles the same, so much for standing out. And in the Year You Were Born challenge so many really long titles which make the photo secondary, and sometimes even tacky-looking. Famous last words makes mroe sense, but the description is still forcing us to use it at risk of voters voting us down. Please let us decide what to call our photos in the future!

What's next? "Portraits IV" - Take a portrait and title your photo with the height, breast size, inner leg size, and first pet's nickname of your chosen model.

the title of your photo must include your bank pin number

It would be relaxing to have at least one challenge without titles ...

Sometimes it focuses the mind, but I really dont see the need in the 007 challenge.

Well that's true. If you can't recognise what Bond thing it represents from the photo then it's a stretch to say it meets the challenge. No need for the title.

Some features of Bond run across the whole series, so I dont see the point of having to use a title "...from the work that inspired it", as it was inspired by Bond!!!

I agree about the title and being forced to use a title within a specific set of parameters. But if you look at challenges that 'require' this, it is never 100% and even so, some of the non-compliant images score well.

I think Konador makes an excellent point regarding titles. Because they can't be changed for DPC prints, a bit of freedom regarding the title is in order. Let's either allow changes to the title for challenge entries when it comes to DPC Prints, or ease back on forcing a particular title for the image.
