I wonder if this is just heart stents or others as well. I know my grandfather has stents in random veins throughout his body and is going in a few weeks to have a couple put in his legs to improve circulation.

these stents...are these the little metal type things they insert through the groin to keep the veins open so that that clots can go throug instead of building up and blocking the artery??
if so this is what my mother-in-law just had put in...we've been in and out of the hospital with her the last 2 weeks...
