Try the forum search for flash bounce and use the advanced search and click title only. You should get some results I have the gary fon lightosphere II works great but is fifty bucks or so. stoffen has aone for around 12 dollars but have no experience with it.

For (much) greater softening than the Stofen, try a Lumiquest Pocket Bounce or 80/20. The 80/20 is very versatile.

Definitely a good choice. I love my Lightsphere, but it's not the only game in town. Every light mod has its purpose.

I wonder if this works similarly to the Lumiquest Pocket Bounce?
made of flexible material (foam)

That will work, if you get it angled a little further. It should be at roughly 45 degrees, so the light is directed forward.
Also, if the foam not completely opaque, you're going to lose a lot of power.

Look in your medicine cabinet for your bottle of isopropyl alcohol. If it's plastic and the milky, rather than a green colored bottle you may be in luck. Measure the center and see if it would slide over your flash if it were cut in two. If so you're in business. Especially good if the bottom of the bottle has a nice bulge. Kinda looks like a miniature light sphere. Mine works really nice on my Nikon SB800 speedlight. Eats some of your light but so does any gobo.
