I want to email a friend some pictures of a concert. The problem is that its over 50 pictures with large file sizes. Is there an easy way to send my buddy pictures without it taking all day. |

If you are using photoshop you can run a batch action on them.

You create an action to do what you want, such as resize.
In photoshop you go to File > Automate > Batch
The images in the folder you select will then have the action done to them and resaved in another folder or with another filename.
It's just a quicker and less time consuming way to do something over and over with multiple files.

you could use something like www.yousendit.com Just a place to send large files, its free.

If you can find enough free webspace for them, then the fastrest way is to...
1) zip them up in a .zip file
2) connect to the site through ftp://
3) create an extremely simple web page with a link to your .zip file
Then your friend only has to "download" them from the internet at their convenience. Done by rightclick in IE and choose "Save As". ISP's usually provide much higher "Download" speeds.
With Cablemodem or ADSL you can download 70 MB in about 10-15 minutes. |
