tate ... congrats on your score so far in ice .. excellent ...
jeff ... 6.09 and rising of course!!! .. altho still a good score ..
crystal ... 5.90 but there's still days to go with the voting so anything could happen??
all i can say is i'm not team material ...
coz everything i do that could go towards your score has pretty much sucked ...
tree sitting on about 6.5000
free study hit jumping around all over the place ... but just now 6.5455 ...
and the only one that goes towards the team that i've got in at the moment is the low key which is now 5.3000 ... it did reach 6.0000 but dropped down again ...
sorry AGAIN guys ...
edit .. just noticed lisa's score for acronyms ... thats pretty good too ...

thanks for your kind words stefan ... spose you've gotta have the occasional low score!!
i think i do the 'being hard on myself' better and more intensely than anyone else ... like no-one is as hard on me as i am on myself .. |

Sometimes I think about how funny it is to get all serious about an image. It's like you are presenting the world with a piece of yourself ... and if the world doesn't like it, it hurts ...
But then I think "my my my ... this is so small in the great big beautiful world where I can't possibly hope to capture it all and I should just enjoy it while I can ... regardless of what others think " ... then I hit update and hope it goes up ;P !
Hey - as long as you submit something, you have contributed. And even if you don't ... there might be one or two things more important than this - maybe ;P
PS: Thursday voters go low, eh ... or is it just me ?

Yeah, my free study was at a 6.2 last night, then early today at a 5.8, now at like a 5.67 or something....ouch!
My acronym is at a 6.44 though...it was up to a 6.49 at one point, and as low as a 6.38..it keeps teetertottering!
So Tate, what kind of freelance stuff are you doing? Photo stuff? |

6.44 ... awesome! Looks like we have a decent chance this week.
The job is Graphic design / production. It's a promo piece for a big name in music (ever heard of the late Ray Charles ;P ?) ... the biggest name I've ever worked for! I'm montaging pieces of photography of Architecture for one part - the other part is another trompe l'oile but of RIPed paper.
When it's finished I can post it here - I'm pretty happy with it so far.

and wot you said before about your photographs etc being like a part of you, and when ppl make negative comments or dont like them, its like a personal slight .. i'd never thought about it quite like that, but it's absolutely true ... especially when that creative side is such a huge part of who you are ..
and part of my life's journey, i feel, is to worry less about wot other ppl think ..... up to a point anyway!!! ...
i am now going to process my furniture entry and give it a title without any dots !!!! .. the dots are just me framing the words ... so as you can see, i've got it bad!!
EDIT ... i hope furniture is counted for the team coz i'm gonna get a blue ribbon .. it never hurts to think positive!!

so i'm not much help this week ...
next week i will be getting a blue ribbon in the furniture challenge, so everything's sweet .. lol lol ...
actually went to the acupuncturist the other day but her rooms were too boring for the alternative medicine challenge ... and shots at the health food shop were ho hum as well ...
might have to look around for something red .. thats just in case furniture bombs out !! ... :)

AS far as my 7 â€Â¦ it took a relatively huge drop into the 6.88 arena -- it was quite disheartening ;P ... and then creeped back up to 6.92 which is where I'm rollin tight now. I can't wait to see your PB tomorrow

ah, Tate, well a 6.9 is still quite awesome!
My acronym score is still at my PB! It's at a 6.58x now...ooh, I'm excited. And I was SO disappointed the first night...it was at like a 5.3 during the first few hours of voting.

well done lisa on a possible pb for acronyms ... 6.58's a great score ...
and tate ... 6.92 ... i'd be jumping for joy if i was getting a score that good !!! ... one of my goals is to get more than 7.000 ...
i was over-optimistic re my furniture and it appears that i wont be getting that ribbon after all ...

Anyway, here is a score update for acronyms:

ware3927: 6.5432
Add top 4, divide by 4 = 6.1642
BUT, if we use Tate's ice score instead, then we've got a 6.37622...that is if his score ends at a 6.9.

Add, divide by 2 = 6.0576

With all the great scores I see in this thread, ImageNation has just got to take this contest. Terrific work, people!
I've been through most all of the team entries since mid-January or so, and must say this team is awesome. Fabulous images, and pretty darn good scores. Yes, this team is accurately named.
Wow.

Didn't do furniture due to lack of inspiration (looking at the entries it seems that I wasn't the only one who lacked - but all your entries are of course awsome :) )
I'm in "Red" and I hope for a decent score here.
...oh and thx. to Alice for all the nice comments on my challenge entries. Good to see you back and active :)
