My mom is a casual photographer. She knows nothing about camera technicals, composition, or anything about making a great photograph. She and my father recently returned from a trip to Niagra Falls, where they both shot a ton of photos. Both of my parents have Nikon D70 cameras and a couple lenses. Mom showed me this today... It's completely unedited and straight out of the camera with just a resize so I could post it here. She emailed me the original file...



In my humble opinion, this is the best photo I have ever seen of Niagra Falls. Not just because mom made it... I just think it's magnificent.
