I'm considering setting up a trap outside my house, you know the kind wiht a loop on the floor that the victim steps in then hoists them up off hte ground, I'm hoping to get me some upside down old women for the challenge!!

This is what leads to some 'misinterpretations' of the challenge.. The 'cliche' comments and the expected entries threads cause people to go look for something out of the ordinary to use in the challenge. This 'uspide down' challenge is going to require some 'outside of the box' thinking to come up with something really interesting. I, personally, don't think this challenge topic allows a free flow of creativity and it will certainly generate lots of negative comments and antagonism when the entries become visible.
I think I will make some more challenge subject suggestions today...

Well, I can't say that the challenge is difficult or not but I came up with my concept for the shot the first day and I had a hard time deciding on about 15 different subjects.
People, objects, ideas.. you name it...you can turn them upside down...
I guess I'm more of an upside down guy..can't say that is good or bad but it works for this challenge:-)

Seem to spend most of my time scratching my head for ideas these days for what I think would be a reasonably interesting image for the current challenge. New ideas for future challenges would be welcome - a lot have already been suggested.

Hey ya'll... come on over to the midwest...we are having a bunch of storms and even some tornadoes tonight! I saw on TV a semi on its side. Oh wait, the challenge is "upside down", NOT "on its side". Too bad! LOL!!! ;) |

we had the largest tornado in maryland history here last week: category 5. 260-318 mph winds. can throw a car the length of a football field. unfortunately didn't turn any houses upside down: completely turned them into firewood! |

I simply don't get this challenge.... How am I supposed to use my tripod if the camera is upside down? I even went so far as to putting my camera on the tripod and holding the tripod against the ceiling....This challenge has caused me a great deal of stress this week....lol So my question is does the camera have to be used upside down? I am sitting here laughing as I write this because I sound sooooo silly!

You don't necessarily have to invert the camera to meet this challenge... you *could* invert the camera but you could also take a picture of something that is inverted. :)
