Hello my fellow DPC friends. I need to ask a question about my two-day photographing adventure trip this weekend.
I live in Ontario. I am going to Muskoka to photograph fall landscapes. Anyone can point me to a good area with great veiws or interesting features?
Also, and this is for anyone - any suggestions on what to take with me in terms of gear, etc? Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Nella, As most DPCers are not Canadian and the few that are live all over the country, there are likely very few of us who even know where Muskoka is, let alone offer sound advise for hotspots to capture photographs.
To help you out, I think that the answer may lie just about anywhere in this region. I like the towns like Bala, Port Stanley, etc. But there is so much wooded area that you have a terrific choice of locales. Some of the grand hotels like Windemere and others also make fine images.
Enjoy the Thanksgiving Weekend (only in Canada is it actually Thanksgiving - harvest time. The USA moved its Thanksgiving to November [not harvest time] to accommodate an election in the early 1900s).
Cheers, Michael Martin |
