Having seen the Bob Dylan request and remembering the Beatles challenge a while back, how about a U2 lyric or song title challenge with a requirement being that the title of the photo must be either the song title or lyric being represented. This would remove some of the perceived effects of clever titles affecting scores in some cases (see prior threads if you feel like rehashing this topic). U2 has a great amount of work to draw on and is popular enough globally for most everyone to be familiar with their work.

I'd be up for Bob Dylan or U2, they'd make great contests. |

A brief look at the song titles alone easily nets a good list of subjects to choose from:
One Tree Hill
Desire
The Fly
Acrobat
Fire
Pride
Drowning Man

Yes - I could photograph THE "One Tree Hill" the song is named after...although it doesn't have a tree on it anymore :(
There would be a lot of sunrises for "A Beautiful Day" |

The problem with most challenge suggestions like this one is that it limits the group of people that would enter. The Beatles were monumental. They helped to define an era. Like them or not most people would know who they were. They were covered enough times that know it or not, most people would have heard something they did. U2, though they are a great band, doesn't reach the same level or audience...
