Just submitted my Bad entry...not sure how DP voters will recieve it, but my model and I both really like it. :o)

this is what learned from this website, submit what you think is best, if you like it that's the most important thing. now of course if more people agree with your opinion then it's better:)

I agree with that...I'm floundering with a 5.25 right now... After my first ever 6 hat's hard to swallow. Heehee..s'all god though. Live and learn. :o)

allright much better! althought it's just a 5.6 my bad entry is doing much better than the ugliness called personification where my score is 4.9.

how are your entries doing ?

Last night while waiting for voting to end on Shallow Depth of Field III, I came upon this forum. From looking through some of the posts, it appears that it's mostly for the WPL team, but see that others hang around, too. Since I am the proud owner of a D50, also, I would love to join in some of the discussions if I'm welcome.

Shallow Depth of Field III was my first challenge, and am extremely pleased with my 20th place finish. My goal was to finish in the top half, so was very pleasantly surprised with my result. Now I'm hooked, and looking forward to the next challenge!

I need out. I tried and tried, but now that I am taking a huge full load in college, working full time and trying to handle my two small boys I cannot get these entries in.

I'm OK with this. However there are rules that should be checked about if we can substitute after the season has started. I believe were still good if we can't. I think they take the average of the four highest scores to determine the final score. Assuming this, (which I hate to do) We just need four member of the team to submit to at least one challenge every week. My good entry has risen to a 5.8 (woo hoo)

Yech..My bad entry is apparently really a bad entry! LoL I'm at 4.7787 right now. I really wish is had been an advanced editing challenge...I'd be doing way better!

I only have one entry in right now for Good... it's at a 5.23.

And, straight from the WPL rules:
6. The WPL does not allow substitute photographers during the regular season and playoffs.

So, the 6 of us will have to just make sure we all try to get something in every week! And boomtap, if you happen to need a break from all that work, feel free to go out and shoot something for a challenge! Might be a nice diversion for you anyway :)

I forgot to say the same. Boomtap, its only the beginning of the semester and I bet you'll adjust quicker than you think. Shoot what you can when you can and enter. It can only help us! My good has climbed to 5.9 (I know I can, I know I can....)

Ok guys. I will try and get in on the next batches. What hair I had just fell out today. I guess I will go for the tele savalas look in the future.

I hope I don't let you guys down. I really hate being a bad team member.

Jason, don't worry about it. You have to take care of your family first. We'll get by. We have 6 other people. Last time in WPL3, Team D50 generally only had 3 people entering. We had 2 memebers that never entered a single challenge.

5.4 is cool. My pesonification is 5.2 but a 5.8 on the good. I believe that anything over a 5.5 is a good score.
