I'm still trying to find out what everything is about? Guess unless I dig deep and read every post that I will not find out.

is it safe to assume that this is for photographers that are trying and just can't seem to get to the top? lol

I'm trying to make sure that you are not confusing us with the WPL League. Their thread is here. They are a competitive league - rather like a bowling league.

I would not want you to be disappointed in that some of don't expect to make it to the top and frankly are weird (primarily me).

I would read through this thread and the WPL thread. If you still are interested come back and post.

We do have openings on a couple teams.

Here is my Pink Floyd entry that isn't my Pink Floyd entry because I don't have a Pink Floyd entry and also becaue I took it today which would have been too late for it to be a Pink Floyd entry. It might help those who don't know who or what the Pink Floyd are or were.

I will definitely try this! In the past when I have used masks I have sometimes had problems specifying the areas I want (probably due to an unsteady hand) but I have noticed that blurring the mask helps sometimes.. is this legal? But I have never tried this with selective desat and I think maybe I won't even need to blur depending on the photo and yeah I am rambling and thank you!

Our fearless leader, Posthumous, will wander in sometime and make it official.

Welcome to Team Suck!

Ok, I kinda missed this weeks challenges, and I really wanted to do pink floyd. But I got the cold from hell and the shot required my lying on the ground acting dead âlong storyâ Cerfice it to say it had something to do with the ending of âUs And Themâ from the Dark Side of the Moon album. I have 2 days left for Occupation, and Iâm debating as weather I will take my camera to work. I am a concrete finisher, and well itâs dirty where I work, and taking $1,500 worth of camera and lens to a dirty worksite, sigh, but Iâm thinking of ways to protect them. I also have a great idea for AA batteries.

I have decided to try a "Photo of the Week" blog next year (actually I already set it up and have one entry). This was from the PAD with a purpose thread. Here's the link: my PAW blog

Edit to fix the link

ok, it's official, but JMI1 is also interested. I told her Team Entropy, so you can join Team Minus. You can take mngolfer's place while he's on leave.

Oh, and Cruise Director Kel, please let us know if any of the disappeared contact you. I have pm'd liltritter and she does plan to be back in action next month, so let's leave her in her team, please.

p.s. I can't believe you read most of this thread... there will be a quiz later! ;P

Raish, this is a wonderful photo. Too bad you missed the challenge with it. I'm sure it would have scored very well.

I have my entry in Your Occupation. It's going to get killed in the voting, but I like it. So there :P

Have no ideas at all for AA, so I'll see what kind of pattern I can come up with.

Question for levyj413 regarding For Sale entry: did you use a star filter or a very small DOF (and very long exposure) to get the effect on the lighting? I've been noticing night photos with beautiful star effect on all streetlights, etc. and am hoping someone can steer me in the right direction. Would love to try it myself.

And welcome newcomers Truegsht and JMI1! Team Suck Rocks!
