I guess if you want to be in a suck team whilst being in the WPL, then it's your lifestyle choice. To me the two seem a bit at odds, but then it's only a game.

As long as we don't get upset when our team does not win or forfeits due to "life getting in the way" - I have no problem with this. I actually enjoy the winners being punished in a nice way. I guess we didn't tell the newcomers this yet.

To newcomers:

I love, love, LOVE being on Team Suck! Wouldn't trade it for the world, even if Annie Leibowitz suddenly decided to have me start shooting with her. Oooops, reality check...

Seriously, though - I think we have 1) the best thread on DPC, though maybe I'm biased 2) awesome and creative photographers who just shoot at different drummers (or something like that) and 3) ongoing helpful, constructive but kind criticism.

I don't really consider myself as even competing against other Suck League teams. Just love seeing what everyone comes up with at challenge end.

I never thought of it as a competition. It's more like a big family working on projects together, having fun, lots of laughs and good will.

I can't believe the member challenge is Dirt. Wow. I just don't know what to think. Worst yet, I can't believe people were arguing over the meaning of Dirt in a thread. Wow. I don't think I'll be in that one. I did submit to Life. It's quite sucky in a really nice way.

I have a really, really wacky idea for dirt. If I can pull it off, it may score well - but I'm still learning a lot of the technical stuff in photography (just finished my first ever course, online). I'm at the point of frustration where I can picture a finished shot in my head but can't quite realize it... but hopefully getting closer all the time.
