Hello Everyone,
Had to ask the experts here ! Say you have a picture of a Bride with her bouquet and you want to remove all the color except for the the color in her flowers. What is your technique for doing this ?

This is usually accomplished with a combination of layers and layer masks. What software are you using?
Ben has a good tutorial here, see the Layer Masks video. It has easy to understand step-by-step insructions in CS2, but the general idea will work for most software packages.

You should be in good shape with that tutorial then, the concept is the same although the layout of the screen might look a bit different. Good luck!

| depending on the photo you may be able to remove the other colors without masks. for instance if the flowers are red and they are teh only thing red in the photo then you can desaturate all the colors except red using the hue/saturation tool. |
