Don't sweat it Tony. We go in as a team we go out as a team.... But a bummer none the less that your photo got DQ'd

My current pictures seem to be to the point where now I just watch for comments.

the B&W 5.8 think it will stay there.
the Spot is down to 5.6 back to 5.7 see saw... But I am going to guess from past experience, It will finish in the 5.6's

If all goes well this afternoon meaning No Rain or Snow. I will get my post card shot. However a few flurrys might be welcome once I take the picture I have in mind.

while I am still here. Anyone got plans for the opens next week? The year you were born sounds interesting. I had an awesome op for a perspective shot just last week. thought it would be perfect for that type of challenge. today I can not remember where I was when I got that idea. Arggggghhhhhhh......

though there are a couple of ideas for the year i was born -
i believe it is to identifiable so i will go for perspective
( i felt the same for postcard so i changed cities ;)

of course if i had a decent IDEA for perspective it would help.. as well, the weather just sucks ... heavy rains forecast today ...

(Spots is nearing 6.1 !! - i didn't think it .. whatever ... )

Well we all seem to be in the 5s this week fingers crossed for a miricle but dont fret too much, pressure is off next week.... we got the girls

Becasue of my recent DQ I want to make certain I understand the rules. If we lie about our age, is that reason for a DQ? What if we always lie about our age? Do we have to submit proof of our birthday if asked by SC?

Hey guys, my headwear shot is slowly getting close to 6. So at least that's good news. But .... my D70 broke for good today. The shutter mechanism is broken, it's just totally done for; I have to get it fixed.

I am suffering from withdrawal symptoms tonight :)

Might be more bad news for us too, my submition may be DQ'd because i used diffuse glow which is aparently ileagal in basic.. i really though it was OK because it is a filter that affects the WHOLE image oh well... also its my 3rd this year so i wont be seeing you guys anymore... Ive had enough of this to be honest so I might not renew my contract (even though I just did) So I will wish you all luck before they BAN my sorry A$$ and we lost Ursula too ... I feel like TonyT did right now except 50 times worse.. as a captain I apologise

Well to be honest i thought diffuse glow was a thing that affected the WHOLE image but after reading the rules it MIGHT be DQ'd oh well sorry team it was my higher of the 2 scores but i got a cracker in perspective so hopefully fingers crossed they wont DQ it and I can add my 5.7 not that it will help sooo much but better than 5.3.

just put my free study tonight too... man its good I mean GOOD! I was so pleased because it was an accidental shot and I never see it until I was reviewing images tonight.

If DQ'd then sorry guys but please fly the flag in honour of Ursulas broken D70, Imagaine that... bad timing

I just saw a thread about Melithia i think, she was selling her D70 and other stuff for like 400.00. It might be worth it for Ursula to check into, that is if she's not getting a D200. Hell if she lived closer to me I would let her use my D70.

That's OK. My husband is the greatest guys in the world, and he got me a D200 today! YES! We just got home about an hour ago, the battery is in the charger, wow.

Now, I don't have any pictures for any of the challenges yet, have to get working on that :)

I could kiss the man myself.... congrats you are SO gonna LOVE that camera Ursula. Im trying to get my postcard shot today so keep ya fingers crossed, so far the court is still out on my headwear image I hope they give it a squeeze. If i get a DQ I think I'll be banned from entering this time for a few weeks Im not sure.

BUT!!! Don't worry crew.. Ursula with a D200 is like having a daimond mine in your back garden.
