the good news when i went to bed lastnight my death score was 7.5 the bad news is I woke up this morning.

5.6 and falling, I should be getting a validation request for this one if it hasn't already been submitted so hopefully that will help the score.

Got a validation request. can't believe i am actually happy about that.

second edit... my score is still falling. 5.2 now. I think Ive been bit by the overprocessing bug.

third edit.... score is 5.3 now. Don't think we will win this week either. Unless You guys have a few 8's entered in the death or life challenges???

Forth and Final edit.

Well thats all she wrote. It was fun while it lasted even though we got skunked. Because of time restraints and the fact that I am burnt out. I think I will be giving the WPL 4 a miss and save my energy for # 5 when the time rolls around.

Oxygen donations required....

Hey guys I just wanted to say, Very gallent effort this week but we got pipped at the post despite URSULAS FANTASTIC ribbon shot.

This week is the Canon boys, Unbeaten as yet... I hope you guys can do it.

My ban was lifted today. Yipee! alas all too little to late for me to be of any help at all.

Both Nikon teams finished bottom BUT!!!! and I TOTALLY MEAN THIS WITH ALL MY HEART.. I put us into a tough group, Div1 group1 IS no doubt the hardest group in the WPL3, if we was in ANY other group we would be up with the leaders, BUT! you have to beat the best to win it so may as well do it in the first round. We didn't but we can still try to bash Canon up.

I salute you

i asked because i did do alot of processing on this photo and am not 100% sure i stayed inside the rules. 99% yes 100% no.

I think you'll be OK :) Don't worry.

My pleasure. :)

I was looking for clarification. but i am not too worried because I believe i stayed in bounds.

The best way is to send a ticket via the Contact page (From "Help", click on "Contact Us", in Regarding pick the second choice, "DPChallenge - General Inquiry", type your question in the "Message" field, attach file if needed, and click on "Submit").

You can also ask it as a general question in the forums.

What are you concerned about?

Just subimitted my death entry.. I also submitted the original along with all the pp steps because I got a feeling this one will get flagged,

Anyone else ever presubmit an orig? how long does it take to get validated ? or do they just keep it on hand until someone flags the image during voting? Ursula, You probably know the answer to this?

I have (pre-submitted).

I think maybe the language of the pre-submission form is a bit confusing at the moment. We are working on clarifying it. As it is, when you pre-submit, you don't get pre-validated. The submitted proof remains on file in case a question comes up, then it goes into the validation process. It speeds up the validation process. We are working on other validation requests and needs. Lots of stuff to work on.

No. We are fine. Thank you very much. Here is a map of the path of the tornado. I put an X where my house is. It missed us completely, but was very close. I wish I had thought to grab my camera, but I was amazed at what I saw out my window, that I couln't look away.

This wasn't like a 'midwestern US' tornado at all, I think they said it was a f2 or something like that. But we live in Pennsylvania, and that would be comparable to Florida getting 6 inches of snow.

On second thought, do you have an extra BWM?

Wow, I'm glad you and your family are OK. I read you saying that you had been in a tornado, but until you posted the map I didn't put 2 and 2 together.

I ust caught the whole tornado thing. Are you and your family OK. If there is anything you need let me know, i might be able to try and help. I used to live in Colorado and know just how devastating those things can be.

Diagonal: 5.3240
JB: 4.9083 (It started rising a little today.)

I really need stobes. The 2 flash units I have do not produce enough light to get 'really white' backgrounds.

My "DEATH" entry will now have to be a rushed photo also. It was illegal to try to get the picture I really wanted. I will explain later.

This was a really bad few weeks for me, and the tornado didn't help at all.

My diagonals is still doing very well, a bit to my surprise :) It might ribbon.

I have no entry for Bond.

I have an entry for the open challenges this week, and it will do well enough I guess, at least not tank.

Is this the last week then? Or do we also have to enter something to "Dirt" and whatever open challenges come up tomorrow?

thankyou ursula for the comment on my light on white II
i was a bit surprised that it ended up lower than 6 as well

..sigh.. ( well I liked it .. & i'm the one it has to satisfy ...)

Bond is now 5.3768 - not that i expect it to hit my avg .. but technically it is a good pic ...
