I took just a simple snapshot of Hannah sitting in the livingroom, looking kinda angry.. :)
Heres the original, just resized.
I tried a few things:
Remove colorcast filter.
Adjusted levels, then adjusted hue/saturation (mostly reducing saturation on the red/yellow).
Used healing brush on the skin.
Applied Spotlight Filter, (Style Flashlight)
Adjustment Layer w/gaussian blur, reduced Opacity.
Layer Mask, painted eyes, hair, and lips to bring back some sharpness.
Sharpened, but faded sharped to about 30%
I think it came out okay, little bright on the wall.
Anyway, If anyone is bored, I would like to see your edits on the original I provided. Have fun, go crazy.. :)
Thanks
Buzz..

Thanks everyone so far for all your different takes on the photo.
Very interesting to see what direction everyone chose to edit, from Grungy to high key.
Kirbic, wow I have to say your edit is amazing though.
Looks like it had pro lighting or something, impressive!

First she needed a bit of space to look in to and a bit of lightening on the front of the face (soft light).
The rest is Dynamic Skin Smoother, texture overlay... and a bit of other stuff I'd have to kill you if I told you... LOL

I'm just wondering now--
Would all these edits be considered "legal" in advanced editining, or does adding the extra space on the right make it a DQ..
Just wondering for future reference....
JP-- you keep adding more, lol!!
I really like this version

No ... you acn take away space, but you can't add background space.

Hey buzzrock, what's an "Album Cover"? LOL... yeah, I remember those things, I remember I had some sort of Disney Disco album as a kid....
I have to say at least CD covers are better than cassette covers.
<===== mostly a product of the 80's :-)
