People have been saying they are going to release word of a 40D at photokina and I've been saying they won't - per words mouthed by canon associates to sites predicting the 40D.
Well...it is the 26th...who thinks it's still going to happen? |

| Considering the 30D is prob avialable only about 6 months, and the 400D is just hitting the stores, what makes anyone think that canon will be coming with a 40D? |

Because people don't want to pay the price for a 30D with an 8MP sensor when the 400D has a 10MP sensor, but they want the advanced features. So they wait.
