Try the US NEWS & WORLD REPORT. They usually publish a ranking system and results for all the US colleges and Universities in every subject area. www.usnews.com

You can also try the Princeton Review. www.princetonreview.com They should have rakings and information about Universities as well.

I am not sure either evaluates any non-USA Universities.

Hope this helps.

The review of MBA programs in the Financial Times is widely regarded as one of the best in the world and can be found here.

Businessweek.com is a good source for info. Some is free, and some is available w/ the MBA Insider subscription.

Business Week

You also may want to check out the MBA section over at vault.com

Good luck! I'm also in the process of looking at MBA programs, so I know it's a lot of information to sort through and process.

Thanks for the help.

Does any one know any web site or portal where i can get more information on How to apply to B school.

I have certain Ideas i.e what might help case when i apply.I am just not sure how effective my Ideas are or approach is.

I have Project planned in my mind where i create a web site for youth of my community i.e Imparting them right information about our religon.

This is not business project but rather say project for youth in my community.

Similarly i have other projects in mind that i feel might boost my chance but i am not sure if i do mention them will they really help or not.

I'm not familiar with any specific MBA admissions guides, but most schools look for a combination of undergraduate grades, work experience and, in some cases, GMAT scores. Their websites usually make this clear. You can also generally look up the demographic profile of the most recently admitted class to get an idea of what student characteristics the school values.

If you have exceptional performance in any of these areas (i.e. 3.7+ GPA or 700+ GMAT), chances are that the schools to which you apply will actively try to recruit YOU.

Social or volunteer projects like the one you describe can certainly help make your application stand out, but I think you need the fundamentals above before this will make a difference.

I would suggest you first choose the schools that you're interested in applying to and then the specific strategy you'll take in the application process. Many schools offer early or revolving acceptance, so the sooner you apply, the better.

Best of luck!

The Wall Street Journal also has a lot of resources for US business schools:

I'd stay away from the "for profit" schools such as University of Phoenix and Keller. Talking to hiring managers and based on experience from frends that have gone to them, degrees from those type of schools don't mean all that much. Everyone gets good drades because if you drop out you no longer pay them...

Make sure they are acredited as well.

London Business School, is that London, UK or London Ontario Canada?

The University of Western Ontario in London has a very good MBA program.
