Goldeneye is just right. Centered flowerhead is compensated for with the strong diagonals of the sepals and stem. Perfect/appropriate use of shallow DOF (as if I was an expert on that!), and that diagonal blur going up and left from the flower center is great -- like it's projecting a beam of light. I suppose you could try and accentuate that.

The lily is in-between a shallow DOF and being fully in focus; to me it makes it just look a little OOF, and nothing else seems "dramatic" enough about it to compensate for that. I just played with applying a feathered oval blur around the subject; something like that might work. Or else, perhaps crop in closer.

Nice work!

I like the goldeneye. What len(ses) did you use on the flora shots?

I love Goldeneye! Are you planning on putting them up for print? I would love to buy one.

Let me know what size/ ratio you are interested in and which pictures and I'll put a print up. Same goes for any shots I take.
